A Gentile's Refreshing Opinion

It's a bit refreshing to hear a Gentile come out strongly and sanely in favor of the Jewish side of events, when most Gentiles of the world could care less of the prevalent anti-Semitism.

Jewish Demise from Unsuspecting Quarters

"In every generation," the Passover Hagadah tells us, "people rise to destroy us, and Hashem saves us from their plots".

Those who wish evil upon the Jewish people fall into one of two categories; Either they want to extinguish the Jew's spiritual bond to Hashem; Or they wish to destroy the physicality of Jewish presence.

The Greek king Antiochus tried to extinguish Jewish spirituality. He instituted harsh decrees to force Jews to forget their Torah and break their faith in Hashem.

Haman, on the other hand, chief viceroy to the Persian king Achashverosh, tried to exterminate the Jews scattered throughout the 127 countries of the empire by killing every Jewish man, woman and child.

In recent history we can point to two such notorious villains as well, Stalin and Hitler.

Stalin successfully destroyed millions of Jews - spiritually. He forced Jews to break with Torah and faith in Hashem, by destroying synagogues and yeshivas and banning religious observances. Hitler, on the other hand, in his attempt to engineer "the final solution", murdered some six million Jewish people throughout Europe, from infants to the elderly.

It's not known that Jews helped Haman, but it is known Jews helped Antiochus. It's not known that Jews helped Hitler, but it is known Jews helped Stalin.

Besides these two sorts of Jewish destruction, yet another form of destruction arose from the Jewish quarter, probably unwittingly, in recent Jewish history. These unsuspecting destroyers of Jewry comprise the secular leftists, the "reform" Jews (whatever brand their reform takes), or the ignoramuses. These three groups, in effect, also render nothing short of a Jewish holocaust. They first suffer a spiritual suicide, because they, their children and grandchildren abandon Torah observance and tradition, and then these assimilated offspring intermarry and drop out of the Jewish gene pool, which effectively translates into a passive, physical genocide. After all, Jewish men who marry Gentile women break their branch of genetic Jewish continuity. What Hitler or Stalin would have done to them, these do for Hitler and Stalin in abstentia!

This present generation's counterpart of Haman or Hitler is the Iranian regime, among others.

Apropos of the group of Gentile haters who seek to destroy Jews spiritually, a present menace looms large. This hostile bunch seeks the demise of Jews - on the sly. They are the Catholic missionaries funded by America's Southern Baptists who by stealth work to "convert" Jews. By stealth - like the pig who flaunts his split hooves to onlookers and says, "Look, I'm kosher!" (when, in fact, it lacks the internal physical sign for being kosher). Obviously the Jews they bait are the ignorant ones, those weak on Torah knowledge. They have well over 300 million dollars budgeted for this cause. You already find them peddling their piddling spirituality in every large city of Israel, under some "Messianic" rubric [A theme they steal from authentic Judaism]. In the U.S. they have succeeded in persuading some 300,000 Jews to regard their human idol as a god. They succeed because these baited Jews hunger spiritually and cannot find or cannot meet Jewish representatives to satisfy their hunger. One of several missionary agencies for this duping purpose is called "Jews for Jesus" (יש''ו).

In the end, of course, the outcome will be "... and Hashem saves us from their plots". But meanwhile, because all Jews constitute one family - one big collective body - if the left arm hurts, the right arm wants to help. The best way to fight these destroyers is to teach the truth of Torah to these Jews "roaming in the dark". Torah is the glue that binds Jews to Judaism. This blog, for example, might just serve one day to attract the hungry soul of one lone Jew in some far flung corner of this world who, upon learning the truth, returns to Hashem; And by saving that one soul - I will have saved an entire world.

The Ron Paul Phenomenon

Funny how freedom-loving persons who happen to harbor anti-Semitism in their marrow can so easily become discombobulated and fight against free speech when this particular nerve of theirs is rubbed. Ron Paul knows enough to cloak his Jew-hatred under layers of economic-sense parameters, or not so adroitly by lending credence to Israel's worst enemies, but his supporters, many at least, don't bother to conceal their contempt for anything Jewish. Like a wild dog suddenly confronted by a stray cat, these supporters erupt into aggressive attack mode and cannot calm down as long as a Jewish issue or presence lingers uncontested. Freedom of speech for Jews or Jewish supporters now becomes anathema to them, and they are blind to the contradiction.

To encounter an Amalekite is quite common a circumstance for a Jew raised or living among Gentiles. It is as definite as the Jewish law - that "Esau hates Jacob", and we sense this virulence in anyone bearing the Amalekite genome.

The Amalekites, as Torah attests, were the first nation in Jewish history to make war on the Jewish nation. They did it for no good reason. After the Exodus, the Jewish people headed South towards the lower tip of the Sinai Desert, parallel to the bank of the Red Sea just East of Egypt. Then, the entire male population of the nation of Amalek, from their land situated in the Northeast of the Sinai Desert, garnered their weapons and rushed Southward to catch up to the Jews, to fight them, to annihilate them. Never did this nation have any interaction with the Jews until then. Their lustful pursuit to kill or fight the Jew has no rationale. They simply cannot help themselves. It derives from an automatic, genetic bitter hatred for the Jew. They cannot stomach the idea of a free Jewish nation. In their loathing, the Amalekites traversed more than half the desert to prey on their unsuspecting victims.

Today, millennia after Sancheriv exiled the Jewish people to far-off places and mixed up the tribes, and scattered the Gentiles as well, Amalekites too have been dispersed where only nature can take each one. As a collective body, therefore, they no longer constitute a nation, but their genes definitely still exist in individuals throughout mankind. The easiest way to discern the real Amalekite is simply to gauge his hatred. If the hate is unprovoked, vile, irrational, suddenly surfaces and the person is willing to practically self-sacrifice for the cause, he is almost certainly one with the Amalekite genome.

Hitler, no doubt, was an Amalekite, as were, of course, many of his cohorts who rose to help him enthusiastically. I suspect Pat Buchanan too. Others who most probably share this feature today are Farrakhan, Obama, Wright and Ayers.

Many Arabs too, no doubt, come from this seed, although they may instead come from the "wild" seed of Ishmael (see here). But here too the distinction is clear. Whereas Ishmael hates the Jew as does the Amalekite, the latter holds no such virulent hate for any other nation, while Ishmael's descendants hate all of mankind, even of their own.

The Oncoming Tsunami of World-Wide Jew Hatred

Hatred of Jews is on the rise. The "one sheep among 70 wolves", as our sages refer to the Jewish nation, is no myth. Ever since the event of Mount Sinai, it has persisted, and only Moshiach will finally eradicate it.

I'm not saying this new onslaught of hate will hurt us, G-d forbid, but it can lead to paroxysms of fear if you don't brace yourself or prepare for it, wherever you are. And don't fall for the illusion a democratic process will fend for you.

And, don't think debating your case will help, because Jew haters are spiritually blind and logically warped. What more proof do you need of this blindness than the fact that anti-Semitism is again on the rise even after the Holocaust! (And even after the holocaust destroyed much of the Gentile world in the process). Just look at the perverse attempts to demonize Israel, even though the country bends over backwards (with its leftist agenda) to favor its 5th column or their aggressive neighbors.

The best way to defend yourself is to get on G-d's side and follow his Torah dictates. Sweet and simple.

Peace Now - A Dangerous Spy Ring

This week Peace Now publicized a "report"- actually a collection of claims- against the outposts. They have a specific agenda: to undermine the settlement infrastructure in Yesha, and assist the enemy. This is in addition to their tipping off the American government against Israel.

It is a secret no longer that Peace Now and other leftist groups fighting against the settlements are funded by other countries. We are honored to present an excerpt from the Lubavitcher Rebbe's discourse on Shabbos Parshas Shlach, 5740. The Rebbe compared the shady dealings of the Peace Now movement and their likes, to the spies in the desert. (The discourse is loosely translated).

"The claim of Peace Now is exactly the same as the spies' claim in their time," the people that dwell in the land are fierce", and therefore one mustn't conquer and settle Eretz Yisroel! Peace Now claim now: the Arabs are stronger than the Jews, therefore we must cede the land to them.

"Since 60,000 Arabs live in Yerushalayim, they are much more powerful than the Jews that live there- 'for they are stronger than we', therefore Jews should not be allowed to live there. And those that already live there- should be forcibly sent away. And we have to give up the Old City of Yerushalyim, including Har HaBayis and the Kodesh Hakodoshim to the Arabs!

"These claims are an exact translation of the spies' claims in their times! And just as then they saw the dangers that the spies caused to the Jews, so are the Peace Now the destroyers and those who ruin of the Jewish nation and Eretz Yisroel, Rachmana litzlan (may Hashem save us).
